Use these diet strategies to help with food cravings and snack attacks, your body and mind will thank you!

  1. Eat slowly - your body then has a chance to tell you when it has had sufficient.
  2. Make breakfast the most important meal of the day. Muesli or porridge and fruit, such as bananas and strawberries, together with fresh fruit juice, are an excellent start to your day.
  3. Eat four or five small meals a day, it helps to balance your blood sugar levels, and provide sustained energy.
  4. Have a small meal at night, so your body isn't trying to digest too much food close to bed-time.
  5. Eat more fruit, vetables and whole grains - they are full of antioxidents to help counteract your stress.
  6. Stay away from processed foods, sugar, caffeine and alcohol, they will only increase anxiety and stress in the long term.
